On a positive note: the river boats in Akyaka Gökova are going green… These boats have become electric boats powered by electric motors, which are powered by solar panels 🙏 From now on the visitors who take a boat ride on Azmak river will enjoy the sounds of nature and birds instead of the engine humming. This is the start of the new level in tourism in Marmaris and it’s surroundings. Just so you know Akyaka is a slow city, just a short ride of 26 km from Marmaris.

The wildfire has continued in Betce in Datca peninsula. This part of Datca Peninsula is the most virgin part inhabited by wild goats, caracals (Karakulak) and grizzly bear.
