Marmaris shimmers in the heat as Turkey faces more scorching temperatures this week. Next week kicks off with another HEATWAVE on Monday July 28th. Marmaris has been chasing the heatwaves all of the previous week and if that wasn’t enough a more serious heatwave is on the forecast.

Extreme heat is in the forecast this weekend and early next week. The meteorology expert Professor Doctor Orhan Sen has dicussed how hot it could get and why it’s critical to limit your time outdoors during the afternoon. He has referred to the next heatwave as ‘the insidious disaster’. The temperatures are expected to increase by 10 degrees C.

The Met Office and the local authorities warn against going outside from 11 am until 5 pm. The people are urged to stay safe in the sun and stay hydrated this summer.

Turkey is set for one of the hottest summers on record, and it’s threatening to severely disrupt the safety by wildfires that Turkey and other Med countries have continuously battled over the summer months.
This is guaranteed to be another hot weekend and the week ahead in Marmaris, and we hope everyone who is here will have the best time and stays cool.
