Will Marmaris prices rise this year? Will Marmaris beaches be opening soon? A new season will show if we will be paying more for hotels, bars and restaurants in Marmaris. According to the restaurants in Marmaris that have reopened in June 2020 their prices have not changed since pandemic closure. The seaside cafes on the Long Beach are serving Turkish Breakfast for the old 250 Turkish lira price or just £7 GBP or €8 Euros. For many of you this costs less than their daily breakfast cost at home. The exchange rates are at their highest with a 1 GBP to 8,6 Turkish liras, 1 Euro to 7,7 Turkish liras and 1 USD to 6,8 Turkish liras. Yet one reason for the price increase is demand. More entry bans to Turkey: What countries have joined the list? UPDATED More entry bans imposed by the Ministry of the Interior of Turkey. The latest bans will become into affect on March 17th 2020 08:oo AM in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Turkey.  The past five days had therefore seen more entry bans than the previous years. What are the countries in the newly imposed ban? These countries are UK, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands. Nationals of these countries are free to leave Turkey. However, Turkish nationals are currently advised against travelling to any of these European countries.
