Love it or hate it but most hotels in Marmaris are now all inclusive. When you book an all inclusive hotel in Marmaris you assume all costs are included. However, there are extra costs to consider even when you book an all inclusive hotel in Marmaris.
To confirm what is included in your ‘all inclusive’ holiday with a hotel, several methods can be used:
- During the booking process. All hotels have an All Inclusive Concept to specify what’s included and what’s not included or “additional information” section on their website and with the agencies that sell them.
- By calling customer service. Hotels’ customer service numbers can be called to inquire about the all inclusive concept, which will be noted in the booking and communicated to the relevant departments and agencies that are selling this hotel.
- By sending an email or using live chat. Many hotels provide email or live chat support for communicating.
- At check-in. If ‘All Inclusive’ conditions were not communicated beforehand, they can be mentioned at check-in, but that’s probably too late.
Drinks: yes, local soft and alcohol drinks are included but these are self serviced, and usually served from a bar that is mostly crowded serving your ‘all inclusive’ drinks in plastic or paper cups… Not your dream holiday experience? Then be ready to splash some cash on premium import drinks in the hotel or a bar out of your hotel. There are too many of good bars in Marmaris to mention. The local drinks in all inclusive hotels in Marmaris are not available after the bars close, and some close as early as 10PM.
Internet: yes, that might not be included in your all-inclusive hotel price. Free WiFi with limited access, slow and not secure.
Safety Depost Boxes: yes, there will be additional fees for keeping your valuables in your room’s safety deposit box.
Towels: shower towels yes, but not the beach towels in most all inclusive hotels in Marmaris
TV channels: a TV in your room will show standard TV channels usually Turkish channels, and all your favourite TV channels are ‘extra’
Minibar: most hotels just leave it unplogged & empty, with an option to restock the minibar at an additional fee
Entertainment: When it comes to free entertainment it is not so either. The most popular way to collect cash from hotel guests is Bingo tickets (around £ 10 pounds), visits to the famous Bar Street (around £ 10 pounds) when you could visit the Bar Street on your own (!)
Spa treatments: typically spa treatments are not included with all-inclusive hotels in Marmaris. Guests looking for massages, facials, pedicures and manicures can expect to pay loads for these services too.
So what is included in an all inclusive hotel in Marmaris? The average cost of an all inclusive hotel in Marmaris is £ 800 – 1000 pounds pp for one week in July 2025. That includes your return flights, airport transfers, your room, cleaning, fresh bedding, three meals a day and a snack from the snack bar, local drinks (limited by time that is set out in an All Inclusive concept), some entertainment. It is up to you whether or not to pay for any extras in an All inclusive hotel, but if you can afford it why not?
