The optimism that the arrival of warm and sunny weather this month brings is continued with a national holiday to enjoy. Today is the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day! In Turkish it is 19 Mayıs Atatürk‘ü Anma Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı. Our great leader has always put the highest of hope in the youth and children, emphasizing the importance on the future of the Republic of Turkey. On this day young people would stage sporting and cultural activities and official ceremonies organized across the nation. Due to pandemic we are deprived of such events and activities, but share the excitement and cherish every step in guidance and direction of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
