New Dust warning for Marmaris issued by the Met office and the entire province Muğla.
This Thursday, we’re expecting dust transport from North Africa. By Saturday, dust concentrations could reach up to 200 micrograms per cubic meter.
Please take care and tie down any loose items or move those indoors. Please take care for homeless animals and any pets living outside.
Be aware that high concentrations of dust can lead to respiratory and heart diseases, and there is a possibility that dust may carry pathogens and allergens. Despite its negative health impact dust transport plays an important role in the environment by facilitating the exchange of mineral and organic nutrients between regions.
