Holiday stress getting you down? This news will lift you up: airports and hotels opening

As holiday stress COVID situation has caused is getting you down, we are most excited about airports and hotels that we think may actually open this month.

It’s been a long time coming with opening dates that have kept getting pushed back but it looks like a number of hotels are finally set to open this month.

Luxury arrives in Marmaris with the summer opening of this newest boutique hotel Lalila Blue Suites on the 27th of June 2020. The hotel is located in Marmaris and offers guest rooms and suites. Its swim up suites have a private outdoor pool and a sun deck. Lalila Blue Suites is home to a signature A La Carte restaurant and bar, lobby lounge, and pool bar, as well as a full-service spa with an indoor pool, Turkish Bath, treatment rooms and a gym.

The centrally located hotels Candan, Candan City Beach, Anadolu, Ketenci and Balim on central ATATÜRK cad. are open.

Further up on the Long beach the Beachfront hotel (ex. Sunprime hotel), Elegance hotel are open already.

Later next week two more hotels Cettia Beach and Motto are opening on the 26th of June. Lalila Blue Suites is opening on the 27th of June.

July looks even more exciting as Prime beach,
Orka, Paşa Beach, Golden Rock and Aqua will swing their doors in a warm welcome back!

Marmaris holiday makers can rejoice in the fact that more hotels are preparing to open this month and in July. More Opening details are not yet public.

Due to COVID-19 the Turkish association of hotels is publishing latest requirements for all accommodations frequently. All hotels planning to open this year will be required to fullfill these latest requirements and apply for a certificate. Don’t expect this to be a fast and easy process. The main requirement is hygiene standards and social distancing. Guests will be asked to maintain physical distance of at least 1 – 1,5 meters in all hotels.

Marmaris and Icmeler beaches have reopened on June 01st and the Governor of Marmaris confirmed that masks are not mandatory on the beach and seaside in his official statement dated June 04th 2020.

As part of what is happening in the world and Europe to ease lockdowns, the international airport in Dalaman has reopened and domestic flights have resumed.
