If you love McDonald’s and are coming to Marmaris this is bad news.
Big Mac, fries and a coke anyone? When it comes to fast food it’s McDonald’s that comes out for many of you. There is no denying that McDonald’s fans are going to be disappointed in Marmaris this year. According to our recent observations two out of three McDonald’s restaurants have been closed in Marmaris.
Many tend to believe these closures are temporary. However, the bad news is that the location of the two closed McDonald’s in Marmaris have been removed from the map of the Turkish franchise of McDonald’s.
It is not a secret that Anadolu Group Holding that has been operating the Turkish franchise of McDonald’s since 2005, which has over 250 branches across the country and employed 6,000 workers, sold all of its shares to Qatari Boheme Investment GmbH for $54.5 million. Vienna-based Boheme Investment GmbH is the subsidiary of Kamal Saleh Al Mana, a Qatari investor. Kamal Saleh Al Mana also has a partnership that operates the franchise of McDonald’s restaurants in Qatar.
At the moment there’s one McDonald’s in the centre of Marmaris, with location and address shared on the map of the Turkish franchise of McDonald’s.
