Blue Voyage Bodrum Cruise Itinerary

Day 1
In the afternoon of your first cruise day board your yacht in Bodrum harbour, one of the great historical cities in this area. When all members of your group have arrived the Captain will order you a welcome cocktail and give some information about the cruise. The harbour of modern Bodrum is dominated by the 15th Century Crusader castle built by the Saint Jean Knights of Rhodes. Packed to the gunnels with shops and stalls Bodrum has bags of atmosphere thought the mood is very modern after dark. The nightlife is about the busiest in Turkey.

Day 2
After a freshly cooked breakfast on board, we sail to the Aquarium bay which does remind a spacious aquarium with sparkling turquoise waters. After swimming and mouthwatering lunch, sail to Cokertme where cheerful and friendly people live. That has been and remained a charming fishermen village, the place where songs are sung from sunset until sunrise. Dinner and overnight here.

Day 3
In the morning we set sail towards Gokova bay. The translucent and deep waters of the Gulf on the southern shore of the Bodrum Peninsula vary from the darkest blue to the palest turquoise, and the coastline is thickly wooded with every hue of green. In the evening, the sea reflects the mountains silhouetted against the setting sun, while at night in shimmers with phosphorescence. After delicious lunch and a cruise of 3-4 hours, we arrive Çati, a lovely bay set among majestic pine trees on the south coast of the Gulf. Dinner and overnight here.

Day 4
Cruising 1.5 hours after breakfast we arrive at the region of 7 Islands surrounded by coral reefs. In the Kufre bay, we would suggest you take a short walk through the storax (liquid-amber) forest. Perhaps you can have your dinner as a barbecue tonight.

Day 5
Sailing to Cleopatra (Sedir) Island where the coast and the antique city is in the shape of a horseshoe.  On the west of the island, a wonderful little beach is situated. According to legend, Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt saw that there was no sand in this beach at her first visit to the area, and told this to Antonius, her sweetheart, who had these sands brought from the desert of North Africa for the sake of the woman he was in love with. This legend caused the inlet to be called the "Cleopatra Beach" famous for its golden sands that are believed to be healing. Late in the afternoon, we leave the Island to anchor in Karacasogut. This small village is only 25 km away from Marmaris. If you wish you can visit Marmaris by minibus (extra) till the dinner time. After dinner, overnight is here.

Day 6
We leave Karacasogut to anchor in one of the bays by Degirmen Buku.  A small creek on the west side of this bay is called Ingiliz Limani (English Harbor). This name is derived from the Second World War, when English torpedo boats hid in this cove. Overnight in the Balli Bay.

Day 7
At the beginning of the last day, we cross the gulf of Gokova and arrive in Oren for lunch and swim. In the afternoon set sail to Karaada, the little island in front of Bodrum. Overnight here.

Day 8
After our last breakfast together it is time for farewells and disembarkation. Exchange of new friends’ addresses and in the hope to sail again some time.
