Hi, Just thought we would like to let you know that although we enjoyed Marmaris and the weather and all the activities available to us, our holiday was really spoilt by the pushiness of all the retailers, restaurants and bars vying for our custom. We always politely said no, thank you we did not want to look inside their shops, or have dinner or a drink but on some occasions we were actively 'chased' down the road. This put us off actually going shopping, which is something we always like to do on holiday. If we had been left alone to browse and ask the cost of items, we would have spent more. A lot of other tourists that we spoke to on the return journey to England have said the same, that they would have enjoyed/spent more if left alone. Mr M and Mrs B Ellmer 02.07.03
