We are excited to share that Marmaris is currently working on the first on-road bicycle lane project. Perhaps this is the first such project in the whole country. Marmaris municipality started its work on the network of bike lanes which will be due within 105 days. Marmaris has already an existing cycling lane by the seaside in Icmeler but it is shared by pedestrians and cyclists.

These new lanes are part of of the efforts to provide added convenience and a better experience for cyclists in the resort of Marmaris and encourage the local community to use bicycles as means of transportation, as well as offer Marmaris holidaymakers a convenient way to get around the resort.
